How to order, choose a design & send ashes/inclusions
Ordering a custom, handmade piece of jewellery is a bit more complicated than buying off the shelf but I will help and work with you to make the whole process as easy and straightforward as possible. Everything you need to know is under my how to order & FAQs tab.

How to order a custom designed ashes, hair or inclusion set item
- Choose your jewellery/item
- Tell me your design and colour requirements in the design message box when you order (Just describe how you would like the piece to look - you can also email me any idea or design pictures you have or you can discuss it with me on messenger via facebook). See the colours tab for some of the popular choices.
- All prices are inclusive of your custom design/colour choices.
- You will receive full instructions for sending ashes, hair or inclusions as soon as you have placed your order. I will email you and confirm or discuss your design to make sure I have got everything right. A teaspoon of ashes is usually all I need for most items.
- When the ashes are received I will email you straight away to let you know.
- I will then create your item design & colour your ashes and set them safely & permanently in your chosen jewellery using high grade jewellers resin. I complete most orders within 14 days but please allow me 21 days to make and cure your order once I have confirmed receipt of your inclusions (paperweights, thumbstones and large castings will be 28-35 days) any I don’t use will be returned to you. If you have a deadline for receiving your item please let me know if I haven’t already confirmed a date with you.
- You will be sent a photo of the finished item plus shipping details.
- Please note short fluffy hair or fur is not always suitable to set in some items. Please check with me first

General information on ordering
Everything I make is custom handmade to order so you can choose any design or colours you want and I will work with you to come up with the right design for you.
If you can describe to me what you have in mind or send screen shots of images that you like I can confirm what is possible or make further suggestions.
Because most customers prefer to choose their own individual chain length, weight and link style I provide a standard 18” 1.2mm sterling silver trace chain with all silver pendants and a 20” plated curb chain with all alloy & plated pendants just so that they are ‘complete’ and wearable when I send them to you.
Sending ashes/hair & other inclusions
Once you've placed your order I will send you full instructions for sending the ashes or inclusions to me and will confirm your design.
For most orders I will need you to send a teaspoon of ashes per item (a small ziplock bag in a padded envelope or wrapped in some kitchen paper in a standard envelop is fine)
I only use a very small amount of ashes but like to choose the right sized and coloured pieces. The very fine powder ashes aren't suitable for all designs which is why I ask for a teaspoon per item. The remainder are returned to you with your finished order.
It's helps if you can send me as much hair or fur as you can spare - but no more than a 4" x 1/5" section. Again any unused hair will be returned to you with your finished item.
Don't worry if you don't have a lot of ashes or hair - I can still set it for you, it's just better for me to have more rather than less to work with. For example, very pale or fine hair needs multi layering.

Making your jewellery
I will provide you with a certificate of authenticity confirming that your pieces contain the ashes and only the ashes you have sent to me.
It usually takes 14-21 days for me to make your jewellery. Large castings and paperweights take longer to cure so allow 21-28 days.
shipping is 1-2 days UK & 3-5 days overseas
If ashes are to be included I sift, rinse and dry them (sometimes, especially with pet ashes, I may need to grind them as well) so that I can select the pieces that will look best in your jewellery. Then I create your design, arrange and colour the ashes add any sparkle, mica or other inclusions and set the piece permanently in high grade UV stable jewellers resin.
As soon as your Jewellery is made I will send you photos and a shipping info
Engraving
Unfortunately I don't engrave myself but this can be added later to *suitable solid silver or 9ct gold settings. Just let the engraver know that the piece is resin set.
*I don't advise engraving alloy or plated items
